Poetically speaking: The GOP and the Government Shutdown

The GOP

The party for business owners, at least that was my perspective until now....

Now I see they are the party of the "lost, lazy ones" and that is REALLY bad for business!

Here's why:

1. We are a consumer driven economy
2. Americans are really poor and getting poorer
3. The GOP seeks to further disenfranchise the disenfranchised

What they SHOULD be doing:

1. Providing better jobs for the consumers and quality products for them to buy i.e. each GOP member of Congress and the Senate should be working with their state's respective Governor's to bring strong companies to cities with a good infrastructure (workers, utilities, housing, etc.) to bring in more revenue for their constituents and for the state government.
2. Working with the Federal Government to design plans to educate and train disenfranchised citizens instead of just shipping business and the best of our best to other countries.  
3. Instead of showcasing their utter hopelessness in the character of the American people they should be in their respective states and districts talking to the everyday citizen, attending programs at the public schools as well as the private schools. IF they were doing this they would have a better viewpoint of Americans and really do their level best to end this government shutdown and to get the revenue that is for the citizens instead of giving it away to other countries that THEY feel are more deserving.  How long with the GOP listen to their sycophants? 

The conclusion is:

The GOP need to get back to basics and run the business side of our government responsibly with a healthy work ethic...No one can tell you who your constituents are, not polls, not pundits...Americans have been suffering since the 1980's and the advent of the internet and smartphones have not helped us but other countries at our expense. Americans have systematically been seen as chattle to be used by the older civilizations who are willing to do anything to bamboozle our representatives by plying them with degradation and money. Our representatives are so out of touch with their constituents that they can't even feel that they are destroying themselves by destroying their own citizens.

What do you call a man who sacrifices his own children to feed another man's children?

A DAMN FOOL. I don't care how much money and compliments and praise the other man gives that father - he's a fool.  Even the KKK would say that I am right.

The premiere organization with a lust for disrespecting other American citizens because of the color of their skin among other things...and unmitigated gall in celebration of their culture of terror and murder knows that they should feed their own families first! Now, Black people are the most hated race of people in America (a fact) they have very strong family values that are assaulted everyday due to lack of employment, lack of simple human decency, lack of fairness of any kind. Yet, that's how I know that there is a GOD when I see other Black people. (I

AFRICAN AMERICAN 

Values, Beliefs and Life Ways:

• Strong kinship bonds
• Strong work orientation
• Strong religious orientation
• Adaptable family roles
• Use informal support network – church or community
• Distrust of government & social services – feel “big brother doesn’t care about
us”
• Most are assimilated to the Anglo-American culture
• Take care of their own
• Don’t like to admit they need help – strong sense of pride
• Lack of knowledge about available services and how the system works
• Natural remedies used frequently – laying on of hands and prayer are used to heal
• Poverty impacts education, self-esteem, quality of life and lifestyle across the
lifespan
• Seniors are highly respected – aging represents respect, authority and wisdom
• Tend to keep things hidden within the family system – fear being disgraced or
family being disgraced 

Communication Tips:

• Familiar with Anglo-American communication patterns

• Show respect at all times – history of racism and sense of powerlessness impacts 

interactions

• Prolonged eye contact may be perceived as staring – interpreted as 

confrontational/aggressive

• Use community and/or religious leaders if assistance is needed

• May have limited education – written and spoken words should be adapted to 

level of understanding

• Don’t use “street slang” – this may be interpreted as ridicule

• Do not address by first name unless they request that you do so – interpreted as a 

lack of respect

• Decision-maker is usually the eldest adult child

• Do not like to be asked questions about finances and past relationships, whether 

married or not

Meanwhile...

The Democrats are the "Energizer Bunny"  they just keep going and going and going...legalizing this and legalizing that and seeking power however they may like a rabid dog. I feel for Our President Obama as he continues to remain focused and not be distracted. I continue to pray for you POTUS and FLOTUS you need prayer like never before!

I also pray for America and her people - LORD, have mercy and please, please remember Black people and their children, please bless us and keep us and continue to give us miracles daily that we may ever remember the love we have for you and each other and the love YOU have for us. Amen.

At the end of the day --- What does the Government Shutdown REALLY show?  What do you think? 

Whereas, history tells us that the only way America can become strong again is to steal land, kill food supplies, murder whole groups of people and financially rob the disenfranchised I suggest that perhaps we should enter a new era and actually BRAINSTORM with a 2013 mindset instead of a 1713 one to catapult our nation to even finer glory despite what the Tea Party dictates (Bless their hearts, the believe they are right to harm other Americans "for the greater good" - my question is who is Greater, and what has she done for America?).

Still, NO matter how wrong our country has been and how many mistakes she has made that is no reason for the GOP to kill her! Now, is it?
